So, here we go!
This is my first ever attempt to blog.
It's not that I'm technically ignorant, but perhaps a bit private. This whole concept seems sort of like a diary, except rather than being relegated to the deep recesses of my closet, it is posted. Online. Where everyone in the world can see it! Okay, so probably the vast majority of the world doesn't really want to read my blog, but that is completely irrelevant. The fact is that they could! And my colleagues, that just scares the heck out of me!
So, please be patient (and gentle) as I attempt this process!
Hi Amy! There are ways that you can secure a blog and its postings through the settings options. I tend to leave mine open for this course so as to limit any potential issues for students. For example, I could have made this a blog where you can only join by invitation. Then, I would have had to enter in everyone's email addresses and sent an invitation. You can also setup your blog so that you get to moderate whether or not you'll accept posts...gives you opportunity to read them first.
